Time for army

Man, that just came out of nowhere. I know you are already fit and conditioned for it. Although I'm not familiar with it, I think it's mandatory for citizens of some countries to do a year or so in the army.

You were gone from us for a good year, came back, vanished again, came back, and now gone again for another year hehe. I wish you the best brother Vandal. You will be missed during that time.

Ensi, old boy, you are right... but that doesn't apply so much to discipline, as it does to the equipment. When i served, i was in an anti-armour battery. Our last resort was a small russian cannon, our commander told us it served the Russians well at the battle of Kursk. Our second resort was an american ww2 "hellcat"... our primary weapon was a russian T100 cannon, made in the 60's... we were trained to get it prep'd for fire in 1 min. One of the contract soldiers in our battery was originaly part of a tank crew. We asked him how would we do in a real war... he told us, if i remember well, that modern tanks can trace and destroy 11 targets in 1 min. So, Ensi... how do you say "snowball in hell" in suomi? A friend once asked me is our army in good condition. I told him it can repel a hunnic invasion any day, maybe even Genghis Khan's mongols... As for the interesting times, anyone who knows history is frightened of those... smutnaya vremya.

I dont care if was given swords while in the Russian army.. the discipline alone and sitting with soviet trained officers in some remote snow covered wilderness gives me the fucking chills
Then again im not russian so I cant cure it with a semi lethal dose of national pride

Oh and yeah we had training with vietnam era bazookas that would prob not destroy the average russian car these days.. but atleast we have a rifle for every man. Modern warfare!

For me....the first month was like a preparation for those 11 more. But I think the not pleasant time really depends on the "rotation" of new recruits. When the "new blood" arrives your whereabouts will improve

Yes you must, and you better shape up, december 23rd is closer than it seems, and after every absence, Vandal returns leaner and meaner than before...
