Robert Bowling Quits Infinity Ward

Having served six years with the developer, Bowling made the surprise announcement via Twitter moments ago, saying: "Today, I resign from my position as Creative Strategist of Call of Duty, as a lead of Infinity Ward, and as an employee of Activision."

Activision has also issued a brief statement: "We sincerely thank Robert for his many years of service. He's been a trusted and valued member of the Infinity Ward team. We wish him all the best on his decision to pursue future opportunities."

It makes you think that the constant rushing for CoD and the business of Acmevision has caught up to him maybe? Josh 'JD2020' Olin of CoDWaW/Black Ops fame had also left earlier. Most of Infinity Ward left with the release of MW2 and it's funny that everyone still thinks that they made MW3.

i wonder why!!!! now, he will move to ex infinity ward (respawn) and together build the ultimate pc exclusive that we all need and wait for!!!! sight......

It's a shame that cod has gone down the drain it ha much potential bck in its Waw and cod4 day

everything as an end, and tbh i like it this way. no more cheating on their costumers, no more lies and we finally can move on from this story. i am still waiting for respawn answer to activision. its gonna be an awesome game and i hope that they will continue the path they started in cod4.... full client support, mod tools and a game whit a freaking awesome gameplay.... i can only pray

I'm scared that under EA, it won't be the same either. We won't have user dedicated serves like CoD4/WaW and there will be tiny maps with no anti-cheat I'm guessing. These days, companies play so many games with the consumers that it would only be a dream for things to get back to normal.

dont say that cuz if thats true im never buying cod again like the newer games.
