Re: Which Are Your Favourite MOVIE Soundtracks ?
Here go some movies soundtrack, I'm trying to keep this short, rofl ^^
I understand if you don't like it, but for me, this movie is a mindblower (great sequence)
Movie: "2001, A Space Odissey", 1968, Dir: Stanley Kubric
Music: "The Beautiful Blue Danube", Johann Strauss
This one is quite famous and the respective movie is quite scary xD (don't look at the vid if you haven't watched it, contains spoilers)
"Psycho", 1960, Dir: Alfred Hitchcock
Music composed by Bernard Hermann
This one is from a movie/documentary called koyanisqaatsi, one that I strongely recommend (powerfull film). You may recognyze this music from "Watchmen", here is the original version (the vid has nothing to do with the film)
"Koyaanisqatsi", 1982, Dir: Godfrey Reggio
Music composed by Phillip Glass
Ennio Morricone is an Overlord (and also a God)
"The Untouchables", 1987, Dir: Brian de Palma

Well Koyaanisqatsi is one of my favourite movies and of course a great piece of music. It's wierd though cuz the song lasts 21 minutes (the full grid). I usually listen to it when I'm studying.
Also i'm working on it on the keyboard trying to get a full instrumental cover.

Also add to Koyaanisqatsi: This is a song called "Pruit Igoe" which I used to listen to it while playing GTAIV on the radio station "Journey"

Re: Which Are Your Favourite MOVIE Soundtracks ?
I remember watching Koyanisqaatsi in class, where we usually only saw some scenes of movies, but for this one my professor said: "I can't only show a little bit of this, we'll see the entire film".
At the end, it was like when I saw "Saving Private Ryan" for the first time, with those 20 minutes of silence when you need to "digest" the movie, in a state of shock :S
Another (great!) Schwarzy flick ost:
"Predator", 1987, Dir. John McTiernan
Music by Alan Silvestri
I like the Philosophy of Life depicted in the next two films.
"Robocop", 1987, Dir: Paul Verhoeven
Score by Basil Poledouris
"Blade Runner", 1982, Dir. Ridley Scott
Music by Vangelis
Carmina Burana is an excellent music for films (and by itself of oourse)
