After months and months of intense scripting and testing while in Beta, the mod has finally turned Gold for release.
The Rising' is a Mod based on Tryarch's built-in Zombie Co-Op / Survival Mode for the game Call of Duty - World at War, released in November, 2008.
However, instead of having a maximum of only 4 players as seen in the Co-Op Modes of the game, 'The Rising' Mod was constructed around the Multiplayer aspect of the game, allowing up to 20 players at one time, fending off hordes of zombies.
Includes a total new class system , that balances the teamplay for sure. Repair vending machines and supply your mates with ammo while they defend you and your team mates from incoming waves of zombies.
Play as a Support , Commander, Medic or any of the other eight classes and try to forfill your duty in the zombie massscre!

How can I play Rising? I downloaded installer and installed it and I can see it in mods section when im in Solo/co-op WaW. When I launch the mod I get to Rising menu but I dont know how to get playing in there! if i press Find game it seems like I get into regular Zombies co-op search :/ And also if i press "Back" the screen goes black and I need to force quit WaW. Can someone help me please? ty

Although the mod is Co-Op, it's in the multiplayer part of the game. If you switch your multiplayer from TDM to ALL, you will see the server. It's in the multiplayer browser under cooperative, but you won't see that mode if you only have it set to TDM. Hope that helps.

I cant see any zombie server in server list and I cant launch the mod in Multiplayer mode. Edit: What does TDM stand for? And how can I change it then? sorry for stupid questions

TDM stands for Team Deathmatch. Usually in the multiplayer server list people set the option to list servers by TDM so all they see are those type of servers. To see all of the servers the game has, you will have to switch that option to ALL. This way, you can find our zombie co-op server.

Sorry, but the Zombie Server has been changed. There wasn't many people on it and most were wanting to play singleplayer zombie mode.
