Although the final rotation will be a mix of normal maps and these new maps, our ULT1MATE test server (213.163.83.192:28960) has all the new maps running so you can test them right now. Only 7 can be in the final rotation along with the regular maps.

Winter War

The one thing that kept me from talking about this map and others good maps are some things like the elevator problem where you can get stuck on them. Besides that, this is a good map and I hope the author fixes/disables that.



Multiple Choice Is Allowed

Haven't seen them all yet, I'll have to look them up. I''d really love to play pipeline again though, that was the best MW map.

I checked Douong Ono out yesterday on the Ultimate server. Saw that it is quite a dark map. especially inside the warehouses. Is this a setting on my pc is or the map that was created to work with WAW just made darker. I noticed it is different from the original in COD4.

Yeah I checked it. It is darker the more you go closer inside. It uses fog from the outside and you can see inside them just fine until your walk toward the insides. However, I went to check Overcong (Overgrown) based on your post and it's even darker inside which is weird. That one is gonna be hard to manage.

Personally, i like all maps converted from Cod4, theyre famous, great modified, and i believe there will be so much fun at this ones

It will make it interesting to see the fights in those maps... Just hopefully the good old campers don't try and use it to their advantage. I understood you have an anti camp mod for server as well?

Yes. Not as good as the one on the other mod, but we will only know how good it is when we have the server with players.

Haha nice joke Mike, but I actually like the map a lot. It's just very closed in and I like to think about other players as well.

This Winter War is such awesome!

Since I have added more maps, I've also made the rotation on the test server 6 minutes a map only when empty so all players can see the maps for themselves and vote.

Ok, in my eyes the best new maps are:

1. Winter War - Just Amazing, Awesome and Beautiful!
2. Dinant - Pretty Map with fantastic graphic and nice places.
3. Yomi - like mixed Courtyard and Castle, small but nice.
4. Winter Crash - Cod4 Remake, much better than Crash Day.
5. Carentan - Kinda Big Map with many snipe spots + tanks.
6. Duong (Pipeline) - Cod4 Remake, well maded, nice to play
7. Overcong (Overgrown)- Same, great to play.
8. Desolate (Vacant) - Same, having fun 100%.

And damn... I LOVE THIS WINTER WAR STUFF!!!

I liked 506, Dong, Yomi, Argetan.

I also liked the COD2 Chateau map.

Before I move this topic, I wanted to say Rest In Peace to a great map maker and modder, Arachnofang, who passed away last December due to cancer. Before the Ultimate project was put down, I spoke to him about some of his maps and he was planning to work on them, but I didn't know he was ill with cancer at that time. His loved one sent me the news a few days ago.
