Request concerning your WaW Server (TDM)

Dear PDE-Clan!

I have been playing on your server for at least 2 and a half years now, and first off, your server is great. There are always people online, I have not seen a cheater yet, and the people are friendly most of the time.

But still, I have a little "problem".
There are 44 people on the server most of the time, and for me, that´s just too much for TDM.
Why don´t you introduce the "War"-mode to your server. It is made for large amounts of players and it would add a little more tactic to the game.
It is just a suggestion, because in my opinion (and a lot of others) War is the best gamemode ever made in any CoD.

Always nice to see a veteran here! thanks for the pointers those can always be useful, and I do agree that with a cup of morning coffee 44 players is sometimes a drag... however experimenting with other mods is risky and it has been tried before. We have another server up for ppl who want options and so far it hasnt kicked of, people simply want pure massacre tdm it seams.

Yes, thats true. It´s always risky experimenting, because your server is ranked 1 of the world on gamtracker I think.
But hearing explosions 24/7 is annoying too sometimes....
How about adding war to the rotation on your vote-server?
Is it online already?

Hi mate, as long as i remember we already tried to put other game modes into the server, but it wasnt good, WaW players prefer to join the hell and just kill without even thinking how. For now theres a domination mode with station map, and take a look how its going, i would say that more than 3/4 players dont even see that they have to defend or capture something, this is crazy.

I would rather say to get peoples and enjoy PDE US server, where youre allowed to switch modes etc by voting, all that we need here, are players.

Hey KingOfRap. 208.122.57.18:28960 is the server you would want to join and bring some players to. Like others said, it's wide open and you can do whatever you want. It's always advertized in the TDM server maybe 3 or 4 times a match in the chat area. It's the 'play what YOU want' ad.

Like yourself, most PDE are Warheads and yeah we have tried it before, but the sad thing about War is it's the only game mode in CoDWaW that crashes if player count is too high. If you have ever seen the TDM server switch to War and then it crashes in the middle of it is because that mode cant have the limit we have on our server or we would be playing it right now hehe.

We have a fairly new server up and it's a smaller server just for other players and specifically War mode. However, players aren't charging over there at the moment. What I try to do is change to War at nights when there's a small amount of players on. It's getting a bit rare now though.

So, the only thing I can say is join 208.122.57.18:28960 and see what we can get going.
