Introduce Yourself:I am a family man with wife and two sons in college. Both sons have played the game too. I work for a company that designs microprocessors for the telecommunications and auto industry. I love to play electric guitar... although I am rusty.
What do you think about PDE?:Has great talent playing on it. Well managed servers with reasonable rules. I know several members from earlier days like Barcelona, Babe, Mike Scofield and others I played in game such as Paul/noob. I was member of the Weekend Warrior clan, which ran a successful server a couple of years ago, but the main sponsor and owner had to stop supporting the server and it went down for a long time. Another clan member brought the server back, but too late, the population of COD5 had moved on to other servers and the clan went into a dormant stage. I kept my tags on for quite a while, but eventually did not see any other members play anymore. So would like to join PDE since it is fully active and well run!!

you should apply. We would like to have you here and it would be good for North America since the clan is mostly based in Europe and surrounding areas.

I want to thank you and Tore for your kind words,and I want you to know that the time I have been taking in deciding is not any concern I have with PDE.On the contrary it is my respect for PDE that has caused me to take my time.I do not want to come up short.One concern is you may not realise how old I am.I am in my late fifties...Wait that cannot be right!!!...Sigh,oh yeah that's right it is.I have noticed that the majority of the clan is significantly younger than this.I was a little curious of your approximate age Paul...Since I think your quoted age of 101 may be a little off .
The other thing I have been trying to find on the forums is what are all the requirements and expectations of a PDE member so that I can be confident of being able to fulfill them.
Paul are you not sorry now that you reminded me to respond...

I think so too Tore. Yes, we do have people who are in that age range here and it has ranged all the way to 11 years old (which was an exception at that time), but we have all nationalities, ages, male and female. I think you fit the requirements naturally as there isn't much to ask that we don't already do. If you need more time, it's cool, but we definitely wouldn't mind having you here.
