Re: LucasArts Remembered (Gaming)
I'm shocked
I don't understand what they are trying to do, but it's the end of a great studio.
I played X-Wing vs Tie-fighter (with the Balance of Power add-on), the Jedi knight series, battlefronts...
Being still a Star Wars nerd, I fear for what is coming, the animated clone wars series was already very childish, with some gruesome and hardcore details though (in my view, not suitable for a children audience).
Talking about the future films, giving one movie to the director of star trek (though I really like his work) is not the way to go. Lucas said he wanted star wars to have a new vision, from new generation of filmmakers, and they give it to a well known director (J.J. Abrams). For example, Riddley Scott had made only one feature film (the Duellists, very nice flick btw) before he was invited to make Alien.
I totally agree with Caho, Disney has become a nine headed hydra, with tentacules XD
