Problem whit Connection

Hello Guys!
I got a problem whit CoD5.

Sometimes when iam playing the game freezes and i get the Connection Interrupted notice, after ~30 seconds i get into the Main Menu whit the Notice "hast left the Game".   

I was searching whit Google but i found nothing or iam just blind.
I hope someone knows how to fix this.

I've seen this message before, but rarely. I don't understand the Connection Interrupted issue. Maybe someone else would be able to answer as I've also searched the net and read that others have had this problem, even one with a different game, but no solution.

This is really annoying when your playing and after that you must reconnect and your stats are ruined   

Check back here from time to time to see if someone had/has a solution/fix.

Well, i had this random issue, dunno where exactly problem was, i was trying to fix it, but the only thing that worked for me was making new cfg file

Mike helped me whit another problem so i know now where my config is.
I fixed it by simply disabling Xfire but now i try the to make a new cfg file and hope it works whit xfire on.

Is that the new Xfire or the old (which most of us use) Xfire? On the front page, we have a link to the old Xfire which is the vertical gray one. The newer Xfire is more blackish and looks like a cell phone.

I'm using the newer XFire which looks gray/black and yes its like a Smartphone/Cell Phone

Edit: Cant find a Link on the Front Page.   

It's on the left side scrolling down. The links are the Xfire logos with the big X.

When i click on the Link it starts downloading the version i already got.
Yesterday when the server wasnt full it worked whit xfire but when the server gets full i always get this problem.

Okay i downloaded this but its the same version which looks like a Smartphone and is Black/Gray.

EDIT: It works now whit the xfire version from Mike's Link. Problem Solved.

The link that is on the front page should link to the last old version. We don't have links for 2.0 which is the newer version. When you downloaded and installed, you probably clicked the new version's shortcut instead of the old one even though you installed it. Regardless, I hope your problem is fixed soon.

Yes my problem is solved now. Iam using XFire Version 1.155 Build 46139 and it works. Only random "Server Disconnected" issues but thats okay.

Have you tried installing the DirectX that comes with the game?

Yes i installed the DirectX that comes whit CoD5. Why ?

Sometimes, a directx that comes with a game can have a couple extra files that may not be in the latest DX and are required for games to be at their fullest. It doesn't happen too often, but for some games, it does.

The 1.155 vesion is pretty good and stable for WaW as ive noticed, those newer are crappy and making weird issues, also chceck xfire settings and setup sounds same as you have on pc, also if youre using cam, its better to disable it while using xfire and WaW. Also Win7 has not all dxfiles, so even if you intalled these one from WaW and some newest from another game, it could be good to setup dx libraries via "dxwebsetup" wich automatically downolad and install all misiing dx files.
