How much long you play in PDE Servers?:
It's been quite a while, so I've lost track. I think it has either been two years or three years since I started playing on the PDE servers.

Any Special Game Skills?
I'm a decent player, especially with SMG's. However, I like to bolt as well (with no scope). Recently, I've started using the PTRS and have been enjoying it and learning the skill to using a scope without being caught off guard looking through it too often.

I think I have the ability to read the current game and players well. I switch tactics, not weapons, based on who's playing, and how they are playing. I select a weapon for the game, and stick to that weapon no matter how badly I may do. That's how I force myself to learn to better use the weapon and not take the easy way out.

I also try to be unpredictable. Being able to aim and shoot well will get you far, but being able to also keep your opponents guessing will allow you to score well, yet not be killed so often. Typically my K/D is 2:1 or 3:1 or higher, with my score depending on the type of gun I'm using, the map being played, and the players on each team. However, unpredictable to me does not mean jumping, nor does it mean drop shooting. I just strafe a lot when shooting and use the map itself to my advantage.

Introduce Yourself:
My profession is a software engineer. In the winter, I Alpine/Hardboot snowboard, so I'm not playing quite as often from December through February. In the summer, I cycle and golf. This past year I've gotten into target shooting with shotguns, and have been at it every weekend I can. In the past, I was heavily involved in Tae Kwon Do, but stopped about four years ago in a conscious effort to avoid more injury to myself.

What do you think about PDE?:
I very much enjoy playing on the servers for several reasons: no cheat tolerance, no hate tolerance, and the people who play and make up the server.

The enforcement of no cheating is great. I like the fact that spectating and requiring proof before banning is done. Sometimes it seems some folks just start accusing others of cheating who are doing well without having spectated or any other means to be sure. I'm glad you don't just ban without cause.

I love that that the server doesn't tolerate hate, as I don't tolerate it in life as well. People are people, to be judged by their actions, not by their looks or by where they come from.

The people who play really make you want to come back. Not only because there are many good players to make things challenging, but because there are friendly and lively folks to make conversation and to make game play fun. I'll chat and make comments here and there, but I read and smile at some of the comments and conversations that go on (GoGo and FlashDeath, among others). There's also much friendly rivalry between players who've been playing with each other for long whiles. There are still bad seeds that come on, complain, and say negative comments, but they're the minority.

I am glad that the crowd that comes to the server is made of good people. Even more when these people join us. A yes here.

I had a Steam account, and could probably dig up my log in to it. I've had Xfire off and on, but didn't use it much in the past.

When I did chat while playing, my wife asked if I was talking to my 12 year old gaming friends again

I just downloaded the latest Xfire client. Username is same, GSXDream.

That latest xfire client is crappy with alot of bugs, but maybe you will like it, personally im using 1.155 bulid

I had a link in my post to a more complete Xfire just in case you have gotten the BETA version they're trying to get everyone to have. As long as Xfire looks like you remember it, then you have the right one.
