What Are The Best Games Of 2014?
This year has been a rough yeah for gaming. Anything I had interest in playing all come next year (maybe year after next lol). There has been a couple of decent games that came. What are some of your picks for this year?

Re: What Are The Best Games Of 2014?
Hah I guess none of these games were all that. Well I didn't have much interest in mostly anything this year. I thought it would be Far Cry 4, but then, I found out you couldn't play in the snowy areas and their mission spawning is off where some missions will disappear in front of your face (enemies, couriers) if another mission randomly starts (defend a safehouse).
I thought I'd be on Borderlands TPS, but it was a disappointment for most players and seems like it was built out of a DLC instead of being an actual full game.
I had interest in Dragon Age, but I'm not into characters doing auto-combat. I did that with KOTOR and it was a good game, but I'd rather have pure action RPGs. Watch Dogs... lol. Well, I'll say that there was still some entertainment in Watch Dogs, but many characters and story parts underused, gameplay lacked situational logic with enemies and civilians, and there's no end to the online teleport racing or traffic appearing right in front of you. That game had many missed opportunities and lacked a lot of building interiors. I guess Saints Row 2 will still be tops when it comes to that stuff.
I think 2014 is a year developers were still trying to figure out new consoles and they aren't as easy as they were once thought to be. It also isn't that simple to port games over to the PC with great optimization due to console's configuration. That APU (cpu+gpu on one chip) seems to be a pain to work with lacking the power needed to push everything reasonably steady without sacrificing 60 frames or better, 1080p, or things happening on the screen all at once. These new consoles would work best at 720p. Let's hope Nintendo's new console don't use an APU chip as well.
