GTAV PC Digital Pre-Load Information

Question: I pre-ordered the downloadable version of GTAV for PC. Will pre-loading be supported?

Answer: Yes, pre-loads via Rockstar Warehouse and Steam will be available on April 7th. We will update this page with an exact time as soon as that information is available. If you pre-ordered GTAV from a digital retailer other than Rockstar Warehouse or Steam, please contact your retailer’s customer support departments for details on pre-loads.

It's when you download most of the game early due to it's size if you have pre-ordered/pre-purchased the game. This game will be around 60+ GB when preloaded and the full game is expected to be almost or around 65GB when the game startup files download on release date.

It can take a long time to download digitally in some places (USA especially) so with preloading, you won't have to wait when the game unlocks on release day. Just download a few files to start the game and you're ready to go.
