The only true benefit is DirectX12 sadly - unless game companies start using the latest OpenGL which has great performance similar to Mantel and you don't need Windows 10 to use it. It's Windows 8 with a couple of extra features, not counting the data collection like cortana and surveillance as a feature. It's not like going from XP to 7. It's more like going from 7 to 8 with legal spyware (don't know how legal, but it's ridiculous).
