Can I explain to the admins?

So 3 days ago I bought WaW and i'm having a ball yesterday one of my mates sent me a youtube video showing how to make a rapid fire macro with my logitech mouse software, I made it and I was using it in game on PDE #2 fast xp, I assumed wrongly that macros would be allowed since they aren't doing anything someone with really good muscle memory couldn't do, anyway I'd just like to apologise for using the macro in game and was wondering if there's anyway I could appeal my ban as I had no idea the use of macros wasn't allowed, any replies appreciated.
