USB help (desperate and depressed)

i plugged in my usb stick for my R4 and nothing happened and now i can download games onto my R4. i put other usb sticks into the same slot and they work. Y wont the R4 work? its worked before.

Now im in an even bigger mess... Nintendo has somehow forced all the nintendo ds's to download the newest version of the software that includes an update and patch that will not allow the R4 to work properly. the only way to make my R4 to work again is to download the newest version of R4 but since my usb doesn't work... yeaaa ... u get the point....... :'(

Good luck of finding something that has to do with hacking or modding that type of thing. I don't want to get into any of that in this forum.

i dont need help on hacking just fixing the usb stick.
its a usb addapotor.
