Banned for Idle?

So I've been having troubles with my power cord (I have a laptop). I was playing on PDE server #1 when my cord stopped working and my laptop instantly turned off (WaW still running in the background).

I came back 10-15 minutes later to play some more, to find that I could not connect to either server. It would go through the whole map loading screen. The second it finished, it would kick back to the main menu and say "disconnected from server".

Since it was still running in the background, my character might have just been standing there. Did I get kicked for being idle or something? I can connect to other servers fine, but they are complete garbage compared to this server. Please help me find out if I have been banned and if so, how do I explain that it was an accident.

There are no bans for you listed. I don't know what happened to you. If you plan on being idle, press ESC > Go To Spectator. You shouldn't let your character stand around in the server to get shot by other players potentially causing your team a loss. You might get kicked from the server if not in Spectator Mode. No bans.

I wasn't planning on being idle. It just happens

So that comes to a different problem. Why won't it connect to the server?

If I have been kicked, how long does it last. It has been an hour or two and I still can't connect

It may be due to it being such a full server today.

True. It seems that it might have a ping limit. Since my ping was so high, it would have gone over the limit.
