Thoughts on dubstep?

Hey guys,

Came across some dubstep remixes last week and I was wondering. Are you haters or lovers? I've asked this question to a lot of people lately, because I don't really care for it and wanted to know what others might think.
I, for one, don't like the mainstream 'skrillex' dubstep. It's just not my style since it has no steady beat. That is why I'm so sad to see this genre infiltrating my most beloved music.
I prefer to listen to house/trance/dance/hardstyle. In this genre a lot of dubstep is coming in and it is really annoying for me.
Especially when I go to an event, bought a ticket for 80euros, and right at the part for a massive drop, the DJ kicks in some dubstep...

So please, enlighten me, what are your thoughts on dubstep? Pro's and con's? And what music DO you like?

I hear exactly the same music with you.. Some dubstep songs are good but only if they don't destroy the song.. I can hear only 2-3 songs in a row.. More that 3 in the row i am starting to have a headache.. I am not a lover of dubstep music but no a hater too..

I personally like all electronic music. But dubstep is kinda... Every song is too much like the next other :s

Lol Im glad that there are some people that think about dubstep just like me. Although I do not like it, I must admit that some dubstep artists can make kick-ass sounds !

well i only can listen one song and then i see red.. dubstep is about robots having sex thats what it sounds like or few printers printing some stuff

i know you are telling the truth because a robot has no heart so no emotions but you are very generous and funny but you like dubstep so i am doubting that a bit mmmmmmmm

Haha that might be a warning bell for "music" these days as a whole if you pay 80 euros and dont even know what their gonna play!? call me old fashioned but my personal requirement for music is that it uses atleast 1 instrument, something thats hardly a given in todays clubs.

Well when I pay 80euros for a ticket I know what music they are going to play . But unfortunately dubstep has made its way into that as well...
