World At War has a great 4 Player Co-Op Campaign and if you've played Call Of Duty 4, the closest multiplayer game to it is World At War as it runs on a modified CoD4 engine. It has classic weapons, similar perk system, and maps range from small to huge in terms of a Call Of Duty Game.

Out of the 23 maps, there's only 4 maps that have tanks and most of them are excellent. Some of it's best maps are Upheaval, Downfall, Hangar, Revolution, Seelow, and the massive Outskirts (which also has every class/soldier type in mind) to name a few. The large maps work well on PC due to the ability of dedicated servers to handle more than the standard 12 players in typical CoD games.

For console players (or some PC players), yes there is Xbox 360 Controller Support (or Logitech F Series Gamepads if you want to assign your own controls).
