ZOMO and The World Vs PDE - World War (WaW)

First topic message reminder :

I wanted a war like this to go down this January, but it looks like it's going to slip from this month. I am currently trying to get a war going, but I will need their side to respond.

As it goes, it may seem weird, but this will be a war open to the public. It is changed over from 'PDE Vs The World' to a semi-organized match because regular players don't get involved. However, some of it is still the same.

The clans involved would pick their sides, but the server won't be passworded, meaning anyone can still join and play. This war would be played out on WaW Server 2 and as you can see, this is more of a fun match so don't worry about Server 2 too much. It's for good reason.

Mike has already asked me about balance and other issues, but everything would be good. Now, all we need is a few words from the ZOMO crew.

Emi there's always a problem with setting up the time because we have people from every place of the world so as you see, the War starts lets say at 9 in the morning for Barcelona but 9 at night for Vandal. Maybe Vandal doesn't have any problem to start at 10 for Russia but we also don't know because some people want to go outside later.

We are sorry for not setting the time a bit later. It was first set 2 hours later, but that's night for some people, so we took 2 hours off. It's not easy to get everyone's times right, but we are working on it and getting better each time. I do wish you were here.

I have an idea for a 'ZOMO vs PDE Rifle Only War' and also another 'Open World War', but with the World War opened to 40 players instead of the small limit we just had. 40 players was originally the goal for the war we just had, but since the War gametype crashes with lots of players on, we made a server limit. Next time, we will leave that mode out and add more players.

As far as a closed Rifle War, if you guys are ok with that, we can do that also next.

Lol it's not a response to that. It's just a plain rifle war, nothing special. We could have a War mode war. Who knows?

We can do another one as soon as we sort out this next war in what will be used as far as rifle only or bolt only and what rifles are allowed, etc. I hope there can be some agreements soon. The sooner everyone is on the same page, the quicker the war will have a date.

Believe me mate! Your country is probably the best place for that Well I got 2 net connections. With the common one I get ping 250 in the U.S server, with the fast speed I get 160^^

I'm wondering if Moscow gets better ping through Asia to New York or through Europe to New York lol
