ZOMO and The World Vs PDE - World War (WaW)

First topic message reminder :

I wanted a war like this to go down this January, but it looks like it's going to slip from this month. I am currently trying to get a war going, but I will need their side to respond.

As it goes, it may seem weird, but this will be a war open to the public. It is changed over from 'PDE Vs The World' to a semi-organized match because regular players don't get involved. However, some of it is still the same.

The clans involved would pick their sides, but the server won't be passworded, meaning anyone can still join and play. This war would be played out on WaW Server 2 and as you can see, this is more of a fun match so don't worry about Server 2 too much. It's for good reason.

Mike has already asked me about balance and other issues, but everything would be good. Now, all we need is a few words from the ZOMO crew.

That's why I moved the server from Texas to New York to get it as close to Europe as possible because that area of the world is what gets players on the U.S. server, not Americans. Europeans and others have to come in order for Americans to have somewhere to play because they won't do it on their own and there's not that many of them playing WaW unless it's those modded crouch or realism servers. Still, Europe and that part of the world pretty much owns WaW.

Paul, there's still a huge part of Americans that plays on PDE 1 which is a paradox...USA plays EU and EU plays USA..

Lol EU plays EVERYWHERE.

whit 170 ping you must notice something diferent mate. in my screen i see no lags but like i said my bullets travel slower, whit that ping your bullets should be slower also. in the usa server i can only use type 100... everything else just sucks (specially bolt rifles )
this happens whit every fps game i have. cod4, cod5, bo, mw2/3, bf3... my net sucks, maybe yours is far better than mine and cause of that u see no diferences, but its weird anyway

well, the few times i joined usa server i saw some really low pings (20 to 50) those must be americans for sure. anyway i agree whit u, i saw more than half whit high pings, so more EU or other continents. but dont give up on the server paul.

Anyway, this got very offtopic but yeah, even with my fast speed where I get ping 160, I see huge diffrence. But this server is just great. Btw, some may have not noticed, press "Z" to talk.

hehe yea koko..stats too ! Anyway caho, the difference it's so little for me.. I snipe with no problems, as Mike may have proved but..maybe coz I have a 25 mb connection, or i just play for fun and not for stats. However this is officially offtopic

Yea, i like 2nd server alot, higher ping, but it doesnt matter, its just for fun, to try something else, glad to see that it still ranking up, that great, stats are funny, alot of players likes it, the best for me is ofc war mode, ou yea
