Cannot connect to the servers

Dear fellow WaW players,

after a long time i decided to reinstall CoD WaW again. (New PC and stuff)
I found these servers as private/alternative servers on the internet.
So i got to admit and maybe it is important for this situation: bla bla bla.

So here is my problem: I installed WaW and patched it through 1.0 to 1.7. All fine.
I added the two servers to my favorites and they appeared in my favorites list.
But i cant join them. Double clicking doesn't work nor selecting a server and press join.
I also tried the console command "/connect", but that didnt seem to work either.
It just gives no response. It does nothing at all.

I tried copying the PB files, no change.
I also cant make an online profile, but i guess that isnt really needed?

Any help would be apreciated.

Go back to your profile and edit your xfire name in. You can also list it here and someone should be able to get back to you soon.

Hmmm, is your WAW is alternate?

I had same problem, couldnt join any server, and yea, my game is legit, the problem was profile, it was still offline, it was something wrong with cfg file, i had to remove it, and let game create a new one, after this, everything was okay, only you will need to reconfig your settings. Good luck.

This didnt help. I am still having an offline profile. I tried using the private client patch from gamecopyworld, but nothing matters.
I deleted both .cfg files, from appdata/local/activision. No difference.

Any more help?

I dont really like XFire, we have a from right here. So why not here?

What other messenger do you have?

Some time ago there was a known 1.7 patch glitch which was that issue from time to time, the only solution was to patch it to 1.6 version, join game to check if profile is online, if yes, than patch it to 1.7. It really works, has been tested out with others which had this problem.

It isn't that. He can be helped and join right away. The issue can easily be solved by browsing the web or getting in touch with our members. I'm sure he was close to fixing his problem.
