b0c3ed26 Fix For PunkBuster Global Ban

If Global GUID Ban b0c3ed26 has been getting on your nerves and giving you a global ban for no reason, it's because someone else has previously been banned with your
key.

Get another cdkey/keycode from somewhere because a lot of them have been used by cheaters, etc.

Also, you may need to *LOOK HERE* if you are having other problems with Punkbuster.

I still see people coming to the server and getting the Global ban warning.

First of all, contact me or Alastora to send you a file depending on your OS, its either 64 bit or 32 bit.
When you get the file, install it. Press yes.

Then go to Startup and write "regedit"

64 bit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/Activision/Call of Duty WAW/

32 bit:
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/Activision/Call of Duty WAW/

Look for "codkey", if you don't see it, create one and name it "codkey". Then get the cd key.

Write it without spaces between the letters/numbers in the codkey and press ok.

And you're done.

If you still get the same warning choose another serial code

^^This is how to thoroughly update Punkbuster. If you are still having problems, which I think you will, usually this type of error is caused by using someone elses CD KEY or someone else using your CD KEY and they had gotten banned with it (probably by cheating or something). For that, you will probably need another CD KEY.

Know that I need a CD KEY, and know where a must putt him, but I don´t have that location!!! Why? What I´m doing wrong?

Have you installed the game with a CD KEY? If so, you should see a line to the right called

codkey REG_SZ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I don't care about saves etc. Just wont to play an different severs, and here off course.

Well I can see here it says that you don't even have the game installed at all. This must be a new install. You can add a new string value under (Default) called 'codkey' (without the marks) and the value data will be a new key without spaces (for example: F349HF439H3FWERH9ADA).

Also, instead of codkey being a folder, it should be: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/Activision/Call of Duty WAW/

So, you will need an Activision folder, then a Call of Duty WAW folder inside of it. When you have made the Call of Duty WAW folder, in the space to your right is where you put the codkey. Follow the directions given in an earlier post for that.

Don´t know how, but i did it.
I tipe in serch from Registry Activision and find CD KEY and replace it with new one.

Yea I am. Two times.
Now I must learn the rules, becouse my brother told me that there certains ruels.

The rules are easy and simple.

Due to how the server is, we don't use grenade launchers

No cheating whatsoever

No disrespecting players in nasty ways over race, religion, or anything of that nature

Im having that global ban too, and i would like to maintain my rank and saves, how do i install a new cdkey without losing rank?

I think ranks are linked to your cd key, there are ways to hack your level tho, do some google work

To keep your rank, you have to put the key in while you're in game.

A good way of doing this is to go to the main menu and select 'Start New Server'. From there, just pick anything and start a match by yourself. While in the match, press Esc and go to Options/Multiplayer Options and change key. Once you are finished putting the key in, pres Esc back to the match you are in. Blow yourself up with a couple grenades and then leave the game. Blowing yourself up is important because it merges your key with your stats.

You don't have to hack your level and please don't hehe.

When i make a server, i cant change cdkey. The enter keycode option is not available.

I got legal CD key recently . Question is : can I do this procedure with that new legit key and how to connect to "legit" servers after that? I guess that I have to create that online account somewhere?
